Works from Cerámica Suro

Feria Material 2024, Mexico City

CASTILLA / KLYUYEVA is proud to present a new body of original ceramic works by Mexican-American artist Yvette Mayorga. These pieces were created during her art residency at Ceramica Suro in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, between June and July 2023.

Continuing her artistic practice and drawing inspiration from Rococo Art history and American Art history throughout the centuries, Yvette envisions intricate and decadently designed vases and plates. These pieces are adorned with her signature pink hue and distinctive piping technique.
